Amazing Grace strings are named for my mom, Grace. She is a gifted music teacher and composer, and she gave me something I have carried my whole life: the joy of music.

The first instrument I ever learned to play was the ukulele. I was four years old, or so I’m told. I have no memory of a time when I couldn’t play one, so it must be true.

I eventually moved on to electric and acoustic guitar, but the ukulele never really left me. It carries a deep family connection and reminds me that none of us find our own way entirely alone.

Amazing Grace's strings are dedicated to the moms, dads, grandparents, and everyone else who gave their time so we could find our own way.
